We consider a sequence of convex integral functionals Fs: W1,ps) → ? and a sequence of weakly lower semicontinuous and generally nonintegral functionals Gs: W1,ps) → ?, where {Ωs} is a sequence of domains in ?n contained in a bounded domain Ω ? ?n (n ≥ 2) and p > 1. Along with this, we consider a sequence of closed convex sets Vs = {vW1,ps): vKs(v) a.e. in Ωs}, where Ks is a mapping from the space W1,ps) to the set of all functions defined on Ωs. We establish conditions under which minimizers and minimum values of the functionals Fs + Gs on the sets Vs converge to a minimizer and the minimum value of a functional on the set V = {vW1,p(Ω): vK(v) a.e. in Ω}, where K is a mapping from the space W1,p(Ω) to the set of all functions defined on Ω. These conditions include, in particular, the strong connectedness of the spaces W1,ps) with the space W1,p(Ω), the condition of exhaustion of the domain Ω by the domains Ωs, the Γ-convergence of the sequence {Fs} to a functional F: W1,p(Ω) → ?, and a certain convergence of the sequence {Gs} to a functional G: W1,p(Ω) → ?. We also assume some conditions characterizing both the internal properties of the mappings Ks and their relation to the mapping K. In particular, these conditions admit the study of variational problems with irregular varying unilateral obstacles and with varying constraints combining the pointwise dependence and the functional dependence of the integral form.  相似文献

Consider the second order discrete Hamiltonian systems Δ2u(n-1)-L(n)u(n) + ▽W (n, u(n)) = f(n),where n ∈ Z, u ∈ RN and W : Z × RN → R and f : Z → RN are not necessarily periodic in n. Under some comparatively general assumptions on L, W and f , we establish results on the existence of homoclinic orbits. A subset F ? V (G) is called an R k -vertex-cut of a graph G if G ? F is disconnected and each vertex of G ? F has at least k neighbors in G ? F. The R k -vertex-connectivity of G, denoted by κ k (G), is the cardinality of a minimum R k -vertex-cut of G. Let B n be the bubble sort graph of dimension n. It is known that κ k (B n ) = 2 k (n ? k ? 1) for n ≥ 2k and k = 1, 2. In this paper, we prove it for k = 3 and conjecture that it is true for all kN. For a simple graph G on n vertices and an integer k with 1 ? k ? n, denote by \(\mathcal{S}^+_k\) (G) the sum of k largest signless Laplacian eigenvalues of G. It was conjectured that \(\mathcal{S}^+_k(G)\leqslant{e}(G)+(^{k+1}_{\;\;2})\) (G) ? e(G) + (k+1 2), where e(G) is the number of edges of G. This conjecture has been proved to be true for all graphs when k ∈ {1, 2, n ? 1, n}, and for trees, unicyclic graphs, bicyclic graphs and regular graphs (for all k). In this note, this conjecture is proved to be true for all graphs when k = n ? 2, and for some new classes of graphs.  相似文献

In the present paper, a 2mth-order quasilinear divergence equation is considered under the condition that its coefficients satisfy the Carathéodory condition and the standard conditions of growth and coercivity in the Sobolev space Wm,p(Ω), Ω ? Rn, p > 1. It is proved that an arbitrary generalized (in the sense of distributions) solution uW0m,p (Ω) of this equation is bounded if m ≥ 2, n = mp, and the right-hand side of this equation belongs to the Orlicz–Zygmund space L(log L)n?1(Ω).  相似文献

It is well known that any compactly supported continuous complex differential n-form can be integrated over real n-dimensional C1 manifolds in Cm (m ≥ n). For n = 1, the integral along any locally rectifiable curve is defined. Another generalization is the theory of currents (linear functionals on the space of compactly supported C differential forms). The topic of the article is the integration of measurable complex differential (n, 0)-forms (containing no \(d{\bar z_j}\)) over real n-dimensional C0 manifolds in Cm with locally finite n-dimensional variations (a generalization of locally rectifiable curves to dimensions n > 1). The last result is that a real n-dimensional manifold C1 embedded in Cm has locally finite variations, and the integral of a measurable complex differential (n, 0)-form defined in the article can be calculated by a well-known formula.  相似文献

Erdoes and Soes conjectured in 1963 that every graph G on n vertices with edge number e(G) 〉 1/2(k - 1)n contains every tree T with k edges as a subgraph. In this paper, we consider a variation of the above conjecture, that is, for n 〉 9/ 2k^2 + 37/2+ 14 and every graph G on n vertices with e(G) 〉 1/2 (k- 1)n, we prove that there exists a graph G' on n vertices having the same degree sequence as G and containing every tree T with k edges as a subgraph.  相似文献

In the first part of the paper, we describe the Kähler geometry of the universal Teichmüller space, which can be realized as an open subset in the complex Banach space of holomorphic quadratic differentials in the unit disc. The universal Teichmüller space contains classical Teichmüller spaces T(G), where G is a Fuchsian group, as complex submanifolds. The quotient Diff+(S 1)/Möb(S 1) of the diffeomorphism group of the unit circle modulo Möbius transformations can be considered as a “smooth” part of the universal Teichmüller space. In the second part we describe how to quantize Diff+(S 1)/Möb(S 1) by embedding it in an infinite-dimensional Siegel disc. This quantization method does not apply to the whole universal Teichmüller space. However, this space can be quantized using the “quantized calculus” of A. Connes and D. Sullivan.  相似文献

Let G = (V,A) be a digraph and k ≥ 1 an integer. For u, vV, we say that the vertex u distance k-dominate v if the distance from u to v at most k. A set D of vertices in G is a distance k-dominating set if each vertex of V D is distance k-dominated by some vertex of D. The distance k-domination number of G, denoted by γ k (G), is the minimum cardinality of a distance k-dominating set of G. Generalized de Bruijn digraphs G B (n, d) and generalized Kautz digraphs G K (n, d) are good candidates for interconnection networks. Denote Δ k := (∑ j=0 k d j )?1. F. Tian and J. Xu showed that ?nΔ k ? γ k (G B (n, d)) ≤?n/d k? and ?nΔ k ? ≤ γ k (G K (n, d)) ≤ ?n/d k ?. In this paper, we prove that every generalized de Bruijn digraph G B (n, d) has the distance k-domination number ?nΔ k ? or ?nΔ k ?+1, and the distance k-domination number of every generalized Kautz digraph G K (n, d) bounded above by ?n/(d k?1+d k )?. Additionally, we present various sufficient conditions for γ k (G B (n, d)) = ?nΔ k ? and γ k (G K (n, d)) = ?nΔ k ?.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. An element gG is called a vanishing element if there exists an irreducible complex character χ of G such that χ(g)= 0. Denote by Vo(G) the set of orders of vanishing elements of G. Ghasemabadi, Iranmanesh, Mavadatpour (2015), in their paper presented the following conjecture: Let G be a finite group and M a finite nonabelian simple group such that Vo(G) = Vo(M) and |G| = |M|. Then GM. We answer in affirmative this conjecture for M = Sz(q), where q = 22n+1 and either q ? 1, \(q - \sqrt {2q} + 1\) or q + \(\sqrt {2q} + 1\) is a prime number, and M = F4(q), where q = 2 n and either q4 + 1 or q4 ? q2 + 1 is a prime number.  相似文献

We consider even factors with a bounded number of components in the n-times iterated line graphs L n (G). We present a characterization of a simple graph G such that L n (G) has an even factor with at most k components, based on the existence of a certain type of subgraphs in G. Moreover, we use this result to give some upper bounds for the minimum number of components of even factors in L n (G) and also show that the minimum number of components of even factors in L n (G) is stable under the closure operation on a claw-free graph G, which extends some known results. Our results show that it seems to be NP-hard to determine the minimum number of components of even factors of iterated line graphs. We also propose some problems for further research.  相似文献

Let G be a finite non-solvable group. We prove that there exists a proper subgroup A of G such that G is the product of three conjugates of A, thus replacing an earlier upper bound of 36 with the smallest possible value. The proof relies on an equivalent formulation in terms of double cosets, and uses the following theorem which is of independent interest and wider scope: Any group G with a BN-pair and a finite Weyl group W satisfies \(G = {\left( {B{n_0}B} \right)^2} = B{B^{{n_0}}}B\) where n0 is any preimage of the longest element of W. The proof of the last theorem is formulated in the dioid consisting of all unions of double cosets of B in G. Other results on minimal length product covers of a group by conjugates of a proper subgroup are given.  相似文献
