Second‐order Møller‐Plesset theory (MP2) has been used to calculate the equilibrium geometries and relative energies of the chair, 1,4‐twist, 2,5‐twist, 1,4‐boat, and 2,5‐boat conformations of thiacyclohexane 1‐oxide (tetrahydro‐2H‐thiopyran 1‐oxide), 4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide, cis‐ and trans‐4‐fluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide, and 4,4‐difluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide. At the MP2/6‐311+G(d,p) level of theory, the chair conformer of axial thiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 0.99, 5.61, 5.91, 8.57, and 7.43 kcal/mol more stable (ΔE) than its respective equatorial chair, 1,4‐twist, and 2,5‐twist conformers and 1,4‐boat and 2,5‐boat transition states. The chair conformer of equatorial thiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 4.62, 6.31, 7.56, and 7.26 kcal/mol more stable (ΔE) than its respective 1,4‐twist and 2,5‐twist conformers and 1,4‐boat and 2,5‐boat transition states. The chair conformer of axial 4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 1.79, 4.26, 3.85, and 5.71 kcal/mol more stable (ΔE) than its respective equatorial chair, 1,4‐twist, and 2,5‐twist conformers and 2,5‐boat transition state. The 2,5‐twist conformer of axial 4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is stabilized by a transannular interaction between the sulfinyl oxygen and silicon, to give trigonal bipyramidal geometry at silicon. The chair conformer of equatorial 4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 2.47, 7.90, and 8.09 kcal/mol more stable (ΔE) than its respective 1,4‐twist, and 2,5‐twist conformers and 2,5‐boat transition state. The chair conformer of axial cis‐4‐fluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 4.18 and 5.70 kcal/mol more stable than its 1,4‐twist conformer and 2,5‐boat transition state and 1.51 kcal/mol more stable than the chair conformer of equatorial cis‐4‐fluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide. The chair conformer of axial trans‐4‐fluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 5.02 and 6.11 kcal/mol more stable than its respective 1,4‐twist conformer and 2,5‐boat transition state, but is less stable than its 2,5‐twist conformer (ΔE = ?1.77 kcal/mol) and 1,4‐boat transition state (ΔE = ?1.65 kcal/mol). The 2,5‐twist conformer and 1,4‐boat conformer of axial trans‐4‐fluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide are stabilized by intramolecular coordination of the sulfinyl oxygen with silicon that results in trigonal bipyramidal geometry at silicon. The chair conformer of axial 4,4‐difluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is 3.02, 5.16, 0.90, and 6.21 kcal/mol more stable (ΔE) than its respective equatorial chair, 1,4‐twist, and 1,4‐boat conformers and 2,5‐boat transition state. The 1,4‐boat conformer of axial 4,4‐difluoro‐4‐silathiacyclohexane 1‐oxide is stabilized by a transannular coordination of the sulfinyl oxygen with silicon that results in a trigonal bipyramidal geometry at silicon. The relative energies of the conformers and transition states are discussed in terms of hyperconjugation, orbital interactions, nonbonded interactions, and intramolecular sulfinyl oxygen–silicon coordination. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The title compound, alternatively called 24‐nor‐5β‐chol‐22‐ene‐3β,7α,12α‐triyl triformate, C26H38O6, has a cis junction between two of the six‐membered rings. All three of the six‐membered rings have chair conformations that are slightly flattened and the five‐membered ring has a 13β,14α‐half‐chair conformation. The 3β, 7α and 12α ring substituents are axial and the 17β group is equatorial. The 3β‐formyloxy group is involved in one weak intermolecular C—H⋯O bond, which links the molecules into dimers in a head‐to‐head fashion.  相似文献

In the molecule of the title compound, C13H18O3, there is a syn relationship between the two vicinal methyl groups. The six‐membered ring adopts a chair conformation, with one equatorial and two axial groups, and the furyl group is almost parallel to the ketone group. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds [O—H?O=C 2.814 (3) Å] form chains along [100].  相似文献

In the title monohydrated cocrystal, namely 1,3‐diamino‐5‐azaniumyl‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol iodide–1,3,5‐triamino‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol–water (1/1/1), C6H16N3O3+·I·C6H15N3O3·H2O, the neutral 1,3,5‐triamino‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol (taci) molecule and the monoprotonated 1,3‐diamino‐5‐azaniumyl‐1,3,5‐trideoxy‐cis‐inositol cation (Htaci+) both adopt a chair conformation, with the three O atoms in axial and the three N atoms in equatorial positions. The cation, but not the neutral taci unit, exhibits intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bonding. The entire structure is stabilized by a complex three‐dimensional network of intermolecular hydrogen bonds. The neutral taci entities and the Htaci+ cations are each aligned into chains along [001]. In these chains, two O—H...N interactions generate a ten‐membered ring as the predominant structural motif. The rings consist of vicinal 2‐amino‐1‐hydroxyethylene units of neighbouring molecules, which are paired via centres of inversion. The chains are interconnected into undulating layers parallel to the ac plane, and the layers are further held together by O—H...N hydrogen bonds and additional interactions with the iodide counter‐anions and solvent water molecules.  相似文献

cis‐ and trans‐2‐imino‐1,3‐ and ‐3,1‐perhydrobenzoxazines and the N‐methyl derivatives of the latter were synthesized from the corresponding cyclic 1,3‐amino alcohol with cyanogen bromide. The configurations of the studied compounds were confirmed by 1H and 13C NMR spectra. All trans‐fused compounds exist in biased chair–chair conformations as expected, whereas the cis‐fused 1,3‐benzoxazines attain exclusively the O‐in conformations. The cis‐fused 3,1‐benzoxazines, especially the 1‐methyl‐substituted derivatives, tend to favor the N‐out form, obviously owing to the favorable axial orientation of this N‐methyl. In the title compound, [Ni(C19H20N2O4)(H2O)2], the Ni atom has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry in which the tetradentate Schiff base ligand acts as a cis‐N2O2 donor defining an equatorial plane, and water molecules occupy the axial positions. The two parts of the molecule are related by a mirror plane that passes through the Ni atom and is perpendicular to the equatorial plane. The angular distortions from normal octahedral geometry are in the range 1–6°, and the equatorial plane, defined by the donor atoms of the Schiff base, is almost square planar. The six‐membered ring comprising the Ni, the imine N and the propylene C atoms adopts a half‐chair conformation. The Ni—O [2.017 (2) Å] and Ni—N [2.071 (2) Å] distances are within the ranges expected for high‐spin octahedral nickel complexes.  相似文献

The structures of methyl 3β‐acetoxy‐12‐oxo‐18β‐olean‐28‐oate [C33H52O5, (I)] and methyl 3β‐acetoxy‐12,19‐dioxoolean‐9(11),13(18)‐dien‐28‐oate [C33H46O6, (II)] are described. In (I), all rings are in the chair conformation, rings D and E are cis and the other rings trans‐fused. In compound (II), only rings A and E are in the chair conformation, ring B has a distorted chair conformation, ring C a distorted half‐boat and ring D an insignificantly distorted half‐chair conformation.  相似文献

The title compound, ethyl 2‐hydroxy‐4‐oxo‐2‐phenylcyclohexanecarboxylate, C15H18O4, was obtained by a Michael–Aldol condensation and has the cyclohexanone in a chair conformation. The attached hydroxy, ethoxycarbonyl and phenyl groups are disposed in β‐axial, β‐equatorial and α‐equatorial configurations, respectively. An intermolecular hydrogen bond, with an O?O distance of 2.874 (2) Å, links the OH group and the ring carbonyl. Weak intermolecular C—H?O=C (ester and ketone), O—H?O=C (ketone) and C—H?OH hydrogen bonds exist.  相似文献

Four structures of oxoindolyl α‐hydroxy‐β‐amino acid derivatives, namely, methyl 2‐{3‐[(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)amino]‐1‐methyl‐2‐oxoindolin‐3‐yl}‐2‐methoxy‐2‐phenylacetate, C24H28N2O6, (I), methyl 2‐{3‐[(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)amino]‐1‐methyl‐2‐oxoindolin‐3‐yl}‐2‐ethoxy‐2‐phenylacetate, C25H30N2O6, (II), methyl 2‐{3‐[(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)amino]‐1‐methyl‐2‐oxoindolin‐3‐yl}‐2‐[(4‐methoxybenzyl)oxy]‐2‐phenylacetate, C31H34N2O7, (III), and methyl 2‐[(anthracen‐9‐yl)methoxy]‐2‐{3‐[(tert‐butoxycarbonyl)amino]‐1‐methyl‐2‐oxoindolin‐3‐yl}‐2‐phenylacetate, C38H36N2O6, (IV), have been determined. The diastereoselectivity of the chemical reaction involving α‐diazoesters and isatin imines in the presence of benzyl alcohol is confirmed through the relative configuration of the two stereogenic centres. In esters (I) and (III), the amide group adopts an anti conformation, whereas the conformation is syn in esters (II) and (IV). Nevertheless, the amide group forms intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bonds with the ester and ether O atoms in all four structures. The ether‐linked substituents are in the extended conformation in all four structures. Ester (II) is dominated by intermolecular N—H...O hydrogen‐bond interactions. In contrast, the remaining three structures are sustained by C—H...O hydrogen‐bond interactions.  相似文献

The crystal structure of N‐methyl‐4‐piperidyl 2,4‐dinitrobenzoate, C13H15N3O6, (I), at 130 (2) K reveals that, in the solid state, the molecule exists in the equatorial conformation, (Ieq). Thus, the through‐bond interaction present in the axial conformation, (Iax), is not strong enough to overcome the syn–diaxial interactions between the axial methyl substituent and the axial H atoms on the two piperidyl ring C atoms either side of the ester‐linked ring C atom. The carboxylate group in (I) is orthogonal to the aromatic ring, in contrast with other 2,4‐dinitrobenzoates, which are coplanar. The piperidyl–ester C—O bond distance is 1.467 (3) Å, which is actually shorter than other equatorial cyclohexyl–ester C—O distances. This shorter piperidyl–ester C—O bond distance is due to the reduced electron demand of the orthogonal ester group.  相似文献

Chair, twist, and boat conformations of axial and equatorial 4‐fluoro‐4‐chloro‐ and 4‐fluoro‐4‐bromo‐4‐silathiacyclohexane S‐oxides have been calculated at the second‐order Møller–Plesset (MP2) and density functional theory (DFT) levels of theory. The 2,5‐twist and 1,4‐boat conformers of the axial sulfoxides are stabilized by transannular interaction between the sulfinyl oxygen and silicon to give trigonal bipyramidal geometry at silicon. The stability of conformers containing pentacoordinate silicon is governed by the balance of the transannular sulfinyl oxygen–silicon coordination, nonbonded H…H and O…Hlgax interactions, electronegativity of Hlgax and nucleofugality of Hlgeq, and may approach the stability of the lowest‐energy chair conformers. The effect of pentacoordination on the energy and geometry of Si‐halogenated 4‐silathiane S‐oxides is analyzed as a function of the halogen nature and position. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The ent‐kaurene diterpene in the title compound, 7‐epicandicandiol ethanol solvate, C20H32O2·C2H6O, was isolated from the aerial parts of Sideritis ozturkii Aytaç & Aksoy. The molecule has the usual conformation and stereochemistry found in related ent‐kaurene derivatives. The methyl‐substituted ring junction has a trans arrangement and the other junction is cis. The six‐membered rings have chair or slightly distorted chair conformations and the five‐membered ring has an envelope conformation. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds link the 7‐epicandicandiol and ethanol molecules into two‐dimensional networks, part of which comprise co‐operative O—H⋯O—H⋯O—H⋯ chains.  相似文献

13‐cis‐β,β‐Carotene, C40H56, crystallizes with a complete molecule in the asymmetric unit, whereas 15‐cis‐β,β‐carotene, also C40H56, has twofold symmetry about an axis through the central bond of the polyene chain. The polyene methyl groups are arranged on one side of the polyene chains for each molecule and the 6‐scisβ end groups, with the cyclohexene rings in half‐chair conformations, are twisted out of the planes of the polyene chains by angles ranging from 41.37 (17) to 52.2 (4)°. The molecules in each structure pack so that the arms of one occupy the cleft of the next, and there is significant π–π stacking of the almost‐parallel polyene chains of the 15‐cis isomer, which approach at distances of 3.319 (1)–3.591 (1) Å.  相似文献

In the title compound, C7H13NO2·0.5H2O, cis‐4‐aminocyclohexanecarboxylic acid exists as a zwitterion and co‐crystallizes with water molecules in a 2:1 amino acid–water ratio. The cyclohexane ring adopts a chair conformation, with the carboxylate and ammonium groups in axial and equatorial positions, respectively. The basic motif in the crystal structure is a sandwich structure, formed by two amino acid units linked by head‐to‐tail hydrogen bonds. Hydrogen bonds of the type N+—H⋯O—C—O link these motifs, forming helicoidally extended chains running along the c axis. The water molecule lies on a twofold axis and interacts with the chains by means of O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Reaction between an aqueous ethanol solution of tin(II) chloride and that of 4‐propanoyl‐2,4‐dihydro‐5‐methyl‐2‐phenyl‐3 H‐pyrazol‐3‐one in the presence of O2 gave the compound cis‐dichlorobis(4‐propanoyl‐2,4‐dihydro‐5‐methyl‐2‐phenyl‐3 H‐pyrazol‐3‐onato) tin(IV) [(C26H26N4O4)SnCl2]. The compound has a six‐coordinated SnIV centre in a distorted octahedral configuration with two chloro ligands in cis position. The tin atom is also at a pseudo two‐fold axis of inversion for both the ligand anions and the two cis‐chloro ligands. The orange compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 with unit cell dimensions, a = 8.741(3) Å, b = 12.325(7) Å, c = 13.922(7) Å; α = 71.59(4), β = 79.39(3), γ = 75.18(4); Z = 2 and Dx = 1.575 g cm–3. The important bond distances in the chelate ring are Sn–O [2.041 to 2.103 Å], Sn–Cl [2.347 to 2.351 Å], C–O [1.261 to 1.289 Å] and C–C [1.401 Å] the bond angles are O–Sn–O 82.6 to 87.7° and Cl–Sn–Cl 97.59°. The UV, IR, 1H NMR and 119Sn Mössbauer spectral data of the compound are reported and discussed.  相似文献

The conformations of cis‐ ( 1 ) and trans‐cyclopentane‐1,3‐diol ( 2 ) have been studied by ab initio (Gaussian 98) and molecular mechanics (PCMODEL) calculations and by NMR spectroscopy. The calculations gave two low‐energy conformations for ( 1 ), 1A and 1B , both with axial hydroxyl groups. Two conformations with equatorial hydroxyl groups ( 1C and 1D ) were found but with much higher energy (ca 4.0 kcal mol?1). Five low‐energy conformers were found for 2 . Four were envelope conformations and one a half‐chair. The complete analysis of the 400 MHz 1H NMR spectra of 1 in a variety of solvents and 2 in chloroform was performed by extensive decoupling experiments, iterative computer analysis and spectral simulation. This gave all the H,H couplings in the molecule, including in 1 a long‐range 4J(H,H) coupling between H‐2cis and H‐4,5cis. The 3J(H,H) couplings were used to determine the conformer populations in these molecules. This was initially achieved using the Haasnoot, de Leeuw and Altona equation. to obtain the conformer couplings. It was found that this equation was not accurate for the C·CH2·CH2·C fragment in these molecules and the following equation was derived for this fragment from five‐ and six‐ membered cyclic compounds in fixed conformations: (1) The conformer populations were obtained by calculating the conformer couplings which were then compared with the observed couplings. Compound 1 in benzene solution is an approximately equal mixture of conformers 1A and 1B with small (<4%) amounts of 1C and 1D . In the polar solvents acetone and acetonitrile the populations of 1A and 1B are again equal, with 20% of 1C and <2% of 1D . In 2 the major conformers are 2B and 2D with small amounts of 2C , 2E and 2A . These novel findings are considered with previous data on cyclopentanol and cis‐ and trans‐cyclopentane‐1,2‐diol and it is shown that the axial hydroxyl substituent at the fold of the envelope appears to be a major factor in determining the conformational energies of these compounds. The polymeric chains of [Sn(CH3)3(C28H25O3Ge)]n contain trimethyltin moieties bridging two neighboring 3‐(triphenylgermyl)‐3‐o‐methoxypropionate ligands via carboxyl groups. The germanium atom has a distorted tetrahedral geometry and the tin atom has a distorted trigonal‐bipyramidal geometry, the latter with three methyl groups in the equatorial plane and oxygen atoms defining the axial positions. In the synthesis of 1‐phenyl‐2‐phenylthio‐2‐(tetrahydropyran‐2‐ylthio)ethanol, C19H22O2S2, four diastereoisomers are formed. Two non‐centrosymmetric enantiomeric forms which crystallize in space groups P212121 and Pna21 are presented. The former has an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the hydroxyl group and the O atom of the tetrahydropyran ring. In the latter isomer, the hydroxyl group forms an intermolecular hydrogen bond to the O atom of the tetrahydropyranyl group of a neighbouring molecule, joining the molecules into chains in the c‐axis direction; the O?O distances are 2.962 (4) and 2.764 (3) Å, respectively. The tetrahydropyran rings are in chair conformations in both isomers and the S side chain has an equatorial orientation in the former, but an axial orientation in the latter molecule.  相似文献

In the title tricyclic keto‐diester, C20H24O6, a potential intermediate in the synthesis of bioactive podocarpic acid, the outer cyclohexane ring (in a chair conformation) is cis fused to the central cyclohexanone ring (in a half‐chair conformation). The conformational analysis of the compound, investigated by semi‐empirical quantum mechanical AM1 calculations, shows a good agreement with the X‐ray structure, except for the orientation of the methyl, methoxyphenyl and methoxycarbonyl substituents.  相似文献

Although it has not proved possible to crystallize the newly prepared cyclam–methylimidazole ligand 1‐[(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane (LIm1), the trans and cis isomers of an NiII complex, namely trans‐aqua{1‐[(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane}nickel(II) bis(perchlorate) monohydrate, [Ni(C15H30N6)(H2O)](ClO4)2·H2O, (1), and cis‐aqua{1‐[(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane}nickel(II) bis(perchlorate), [Ni(C15H30N6)(H2O)](ClO4)2, (2), have been prepared and structurally characterized. At different stages of the crystallization and thermal treatment from which (1) and (2) were obtained, a further two compounds were isolated in crystalline form and their structures also analysed, namely trans‐{1‐[(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane}(perchlorato)nickel(II) perchlorate, [Ni(ClO4)(C15H30N6)]ClO4, (3), and cis‐{1,8‐bis[(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane}nickel(II) bis(perchlorate) 0.24‐hydrate, [Ni(C20H36N6)](ClO4)2·0.24H2O, (4); the 1,8‐bis[(1‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐yl)methyl]‐1,4,8,11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane ligand is a minor side product, probably formed in trace amounts in the synthesis of LIm1. The configurations of the cyclam macrocycles in the complexes have been analysed and the structures are compared with analogues from the literature.  相似文献
