The upper triangular matrix of Lie algebra is used to construct integrable couplings of discrete solition equations. Correspondingly, a feasible way to construct integrable couplings is presented. A nonlinear lattice soliton equation spectral problem is obtained and leads to a novel hierarchy of the nonlinear lattice equation hierarchy. It indicates that the study of integrable couplings using upper triangular matrix of Lie algebra is an important step towards constructing integrable systems.  相似文献

It is shown in this paper that the upper triangular strip matrix of Lie algebra can be used to construct a new integrable coupling system of soliton equation hierarchy. A direct application to the Ablowitz--Kaup--Newell-- Segur(AKNS) spectral problem leads to a novel multi-component soliton equation hierarchy of an integrable coupling system with sixteen-potential functions. It is indicated that the study of integrable couplings when using the upper triangular strip matrix of Lie algebra is an efficient and straightforward method.  相似文献

In the paper,we introduce the Lie algebras and the commutator equations to rewrite the Tu-d scheme for generating discrete integrable systems regularly.By the approach the various loop algebras of the Lie algebra A_1are defined so that the well-known Toda hierarchy and a novel discrete integrable system are obtained, respectively.A reduction of the later hierarchy is just right the famous Ablowitz-Ladik hierarchy. Finally, via two different enlarging Lie algebras of the Lie algebra A_1,we derive two resulting differential-difference integrable couplings of the Toda hierarchy,of course, they are all various discrete expanding integrable models of the Toda hierarchy. When the introduced spectral matrices are higher degrees, the way presented in the paper is more convenient to generate discrete integrable equations than the Tu-d scheme by using the software Maple.  相似文献

In this Letter, we present an integrable coupling system of lattice hierarchy and its continuous limits by using of Lie algebra sl(4). By introducing a complex discrete spectral problem, the integrable coupling system of Toda lattice hierarchy is derived. It is shown that a new complex lattice spectral problem converges to the integrable couplings of discrete soliton equation hierarchy, which has the integrable coupling system of C-KdV hierarchy as a new kind of continuous limit.  相似文献

We construct a new family of infinite-dimensional Lie algebras on hyperelliptic curves. Using them, we find new integrable Hamiltonian systems, which are direct higher rank generalizations of the Steklov-Liapunov integrable systems associated with the e(3) algebra and the Steklov-Veselov integrable systems associated with the so(4) algebra.  相似文献

A set of new matrix Lie algebra and its corresponding loop algebra are constructed. By making use of Tu scheme, a Liouville integrable multi-component hierarchy of soliton equation is generated. As its reduction cases, the multi-component Tu hierarchy is given. Finally, the multi-component integrable coupling system of Tu hierarchy is presented through enlarging matrix spectral problem.  相似文献

This Letter reports on a study of the multicomponent discrete integrable equation hierarchy with variable spectral parameters. An instance of new multicomponent lattice equation is obtained. Correspondingly, a feasible way to construct the integrable couplings is presented. It indicates that the study of integrable couplings using the block matrix-form of Lie algebra is an important and effective method.  相似文献

In previous work, we introduced a class of integrable spin Calogero-Moser systems associated with the classical dynamical r-matrices with spectral parameter, as classified by Etingof and Varchenko for simple Lie algebras. Here the main purpose is to establish the Liouville integrability of these systems by a uniform method based on evaluating the primitive invariants of Chevalley on the Lax operators with spectral parameter. As part of our analysis, we will develop several results concerning the algebra of invariant polynomials on simple Lie algebras and their expansions.  相似文献

A Lax pair for a new family of integrable systems on SO(4) is presented. The construction makes use of a twisted loop algebra of theG 2 Lie algebra. We also describe a general scheme producing integrable cases of the generalized rigid body motion in an external field which have a Lax representation with spectral parameter. Several other examples of multi-dimensional tops are discussed.  相似文献

By making use of the vector product in R3, a commuting operation is introduced so that R3 becomes a Lie algebra. The resulting loop algebra \tilde R3 is presented, from which the well-known AKNS hierarchy is produced. Again via applying the superposition of the commuting operations of the Lie algebra, a commuting operation in R6 is constructed so that R6 becomes a Lie algebra. Thanks to the corresponding loop algebra \tilde R3 of the Lie algebra R3, the integrable coupling of the AKNS system is obtained. The method presented in this paper is rather simple and can be used to work out integrable coupling systems of the other known integrable hierarchies of soliton equations.  相似文献

We develop in this paper a new method to construct two explicit Lie algebras E and F. By using a loop algebra \bar{E} of the Lie algebra E and the reduced self-dual Yang-Mills equations, we obtain an expanding integrable model of the Giachetti-Johnson (GJ) hierarchy whose Hamiltonian structure can
also be derived by using the trace identity. This provides a much simplier construction method in comparing with the tedious variational identity approach. Furthermore, the nonlinear integrable coupling of the GJ hierarchy is readily obtained by introducing the Lie algebra gN. As an application, we apply the loop algebra \tilde{E} of the Lie algebra E to obtain a kind of expanding integrable model of the Kaup-Newell (KN) hierarchy which, consisting of two arbitrary parametersα andβ, can be reduced to two nonlinear evolution equations. In addition, we use a loop algebra \tilde{F} of the Lie algebra F to obtain an
expanding integrable model of the BT hierarchy whose Hamiltonian structure is the same as using the trace identity. Finally, we deduce five integrable systems in R3 based on the self-dual Yang-Mills equations, which include Poisson structures, irregular lines, and the reduced equations.  相似文献

We construct a Lax pair with spectral parameter for the elliptic Calogero-Moser Hamiltonian systems associated with each of the finite-dimensional Lie algebras, of the classical and of the exceptional type. When the spectral parameter equals one of the three half periods of the elliptic curve, our result for the classical Lie algebras reduces to one of the Lax pairs without spectral parameter that were known previously. These Calogero-Moser systems are invariant under the Weyl group of the associated untwisted affine Lie algebra. For non-simply laced Lie algebras, we introduce new integrable systems, naturally associated with twisted affine Lie algebras, and construct their Lax operators with spectral parameter (except in the case of G2).  相似文献

A 3? 3 matrix Lie algebra is first introduced, its subalgebras and the generated Lie algebras are obtained, respectively. Applications of a few Lie subalgebras give rise to two integrable nonlinear hierarchies of evolution equations from their reductions we obtain the nonlinear Schrödinger equations, the mKdV equations, the Broer-Kaup (BK) equation and its generalized equation, etc. The linear and nonlinear integrable couplings of one integrable hierarchy presented in the paper are worked out by casting a 3? 3 Lie subalgebra into a 2? 2 matrix Lie algebra. Finally, we discuss the elliptic variable solutions of a generalized BK equation.  相似文献

A set of new multi-component matrix Lie algebra is constructed, which is devoted to obtaining a new loop algebra A-2M. It follows that an isospectral problem is established. By making use of Tu scheme, a Liouville integrable multi-component hierarchy of soliton equations is generated, which possesses the multi-component Hamiltonian structures. As its reduction cases, the multi-component C-KdV hierarchy is given. Finally, the multi-component integrable coupling system of C-KdV hierarchy is presented through enlarging matrix spectral problem.  相似文献

Based on semi-direct sums of Lie subalgebra \tilde{G}, a higher-dimensional 6 x 6 matrix Lie algebra sμ(6) is constructed. A hierarchy of integrable coupling KdV equation with three potentials is proposed, which is derivedfrom a new discrete six-by-six matrix spectral problem. Moreover, the Hamiltonian forms is deduced for lattice equation in the resulting hierarchy by means of the discrete variational identity --- a generalized trace identity. A strong symmetry operator of the resulting hierarchy is given. Finally, we provethat the hierarchy of the resulting Hamiltonian equations is Liouville integrable discrete Hamiltonian systems.  相似文献

The concept of classical r matrices is developed from a purely canonical standpoint. The final purpose of this work is to bring about a synthesis between recent developments in the theory of integrable systems and the general theory of quantization as a deformation of classical mechanics. The concept of quantization algebra is here dominant; in integrable systems this is the set of dynamical variables that appear in the Lax pair. The nature of this algebra, a solvable Lie algebra in such models as the Sine-Gordon and Toda field theories but semisimple in the case of spin systems, provides a useful scheme for the classification of integrable models. A completely different classification is obtained by the nature of the r matrix employed; there are three kinds: rational, trigonometric, and elliptic. All cases are studied in detail, with numerous examples. Some of the problems connected with quantization are discussed. This paper is dedicated to my friend Asim Barut.  相似文献

Starting from the subgroups of the group U(n), the corresponding Lie algebras of the Lie algebra A1 are presented, from which two well-known simple equivalent matrix Lie algebras are given. It follows that a few expanding Lie algebras are obtained by enlarging matrices. Some of them can be devoted to producing double integrable couplings of the soliton hierarchies of nonlinear evolution equations. Others can be used to generate integrable couplings involving more potential functions. The above Lie algebras are classified into two types. Only one type can generate the integrable couplings, whose Hamiltonian structure could be obtained by use of the quadratic-form identity. In addition, one condition on searching for integrable couplings is improved such that more useful Lie algebras are enlightened to engender. Then two explicit examples are shown to illustrate the applications of the Lie algebras. Finally, with the help of closed cycling operation relations, another way of producing higher-dimensional Lie algebras is given.  相似文献

We discuss a fundamental characteristic of orthogonal polynomials, like the existence of a Lie algebra behind them, which can be added to their other relevant aspects. At the basis of the complete framework for orthogonal polynomials we include thus–in addition to differential equations, recurrence relations, Hilbert spaces and square integrable functions–Lie algebra theory.  相似文献
