Abstract: | ![]() By using the well-known Ikeda model as the node dynamics, this paperstudies synchronization of time-delay systems on small-worldnetworks where the connections between units involve time delays. Itshows that, in contrast with the undelayed case, networks withdelays can actually synchronize more easily. Specifically, forrandomly distributed delays, time-delayed mutual coupling suppressesthe chaotic behaviour by stabilizing a fixed point that is unstablefor the uncoupled dynamical system. |
